C Am I wasn't an only child F but in my darkroom Bb I can see why you'd think so
F Bb Put me in view Bb I'm seeing less of you F a lesson I learned Dm when I started to earn Bb my own livelihood F Bb that money is only as good C Bb Dm for me as it is for you
I was a lonely child and in my darkroom you can see why that is so
C Dm Sorry you couldn't stay C Bb everything is a blur C Dm every trace of your days F Bb spent with me now Sorry I couldn't say everything that I thought all the memories decay caught on film now
Won't you smile now pull aside the curtains don't blink your eyes so uncertain where to put your arms if not on mine
Misremembered memories of you and I I can see they're worth keeping Nothing is perfect, love but in my darkroom I can make it look so C... Dm... C... Bb... C... Dm... F...
